Li Zi’s works easily remind us of the famous line by the late Gu Cheng, a famous Chinese poet, “Dark night gives me dark eyes, and I use them to search for light.” Her works touch on time and space, and include dark factors of the common and phenomenal, transient and permanent, animate or unanimate. Her works draw us into the mysterious spiritual prospect, and away from our root, never to return.
